The Gathering Place Christian Academy was founded in 2012 to serve Moody, AL, as its sole Christian preparatory school. Over the past decade, GPCA has experienced significant growth and development by the grace of God. This growth is marked by increased enrollment, elevated staff qualifications, enhanced financial stewardship, and extended community outreach.
As we embark on a new chapter, our vision includes ambitious long-term goals such as expanding our facility, enriching our curriculum offerings, advancing professional development opportunities for our staff, and further expanding the range of grades we offer. We are committed to continuing our mission of providing a nurturing Christian education environment while striving for excellence in all aspects of our school community.

Our Board
The governance of The Gathering Place Christian Academy is entrusted to a Board of Directors comprising up to nine voting members. The Board maintains balanced representation from independents, GPCA parents, and members of The Gathering Place Church. Responsible for overseeing and allocating resources, the Board also advises the Head of School on strategic matters.
