The Gathering Place Christian Academy was established in 2012 to serve the city of Moody, AL, as the only Christian preparatory school.
During the first decade of GPCA, God has blessed our school with increased enrollment, expansion of grades offered, higher standards for staff qualifications, improved financial stewardship, and extended our reach to the surrounding communities. As we enter into a new era, our long-term goals include a new facility, enhancing our curriculum offerings, increasing our professional development for staff, and continuing to expand our grade offerings.
The Gathering Place Christian Academy is an integral part of the total ministry of The Gathering Place Church.
We believe children’s faith becomes real when they understand they can partner with Jesus in every area of their life, whether at school, church, home, or the ballpark. Therefore, GPCA strives to bridge the gap between church and home as an essential link in the education of children in Christian foundations.

We Believe in One God.

We believe that every human is born a sinner and is in need of the grace that God alone can supply.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, and is both fully God and fully man.
We believe that Jesus Christ died as our substitute to pay for our sins.
We believe that Jesus Christ physically rose from the dead.
We believe that Jesus Christ physically ascended into heaven.
We believe that those who trust in Christ alone will live in eternity with Him (Heaven).
We believe that by trusting in Jesus alone I can be redeemed, restored, and reconciled to God and can experience life to the full and joy here on earth.

Our Board
The Gathering Place Christian Academy is overseen by a Board of Directors with up to nine voting members. The Board strives to have equal representation between independents, GPCA parents, and TGP church members. Our Board of Directors oversees the resources and directs the provision of the resources needed by the school, while also providing counsel to the Head of School.
